💜 Free, family-friendly event supporting Alternatives to Violence

Loveland is bursting with creative talent, and Pastels on 5th is one of my absolute favorite ways to celebrate it.

I’ll be there this year, taking it all in—from the incredible sidewalk chalk murals to the live music, food vendors, and handmade local goods. As someone who works in graphic and visual design, this event is especially meaningful to me. I know the work and heart it takes to bring an idea to life on a blank canvas—or in this case, a concrete sidewalk!

Pastels on 5th is more than just an art festival—it’s a celebration of community, imagination, and the power of creativity to bring people together. It’s also a benefit for Alternatives to Violence, an organization doing vital work here in Loveland to support survivors and prevent domestic violence.

So come down, bring the family, and let’s celebrate the arts together. If you see me walking around, come say hello—I’d love to talk schools, art, or just admire the amazing work being created right under our feet.
